The merger has made some NCP (SP) leaders uneasy, as they do not want to work again under the leadership of Ajit Pawar who has establised an alliance with the BJP.
Asked if she is remembering Ajit Pawar on the Nationalist Congress Party's 26th foundation day, Sule told reporters that she has six brothers and she remembers them every day.
Sule said the government should not rush into implementing the NEP, as it would adversely affect students, and teachers were not prepared for the change.
