The institute on Monday said it removed the book, 'Fractured Communities: Adivasi Histories and the Politics of Power', from its library to avoid "any misunderstanding or unrest".
The bench said that the Supreme Court had denied bail to Khalid and Imam in January 2026, stating that they can file for bail again after a year or after the protected witnesses have been examined.
The institute also said individual students and faculty members were free to interact with people from different walks of life in their personal capacities.
