Satheesan accused Kumar of having a "criminal mindset" and "tethering" the EC, which is meant to function with complete independence, to the "stables of the Sangh Parivar".
Satheesan alleged that a group, with the help of certain media outlets, had sought to discredit the UDF government led by him even before it completed three months in office.
He said society has started including women in areas and initiatives that were traditionally focused only on men, describing the change as a sign of progress.
