The case was filed based on a complaint lodged by a Paravur native, who alleged that money was collected after promising to provide a two-wheeler at half the market price.
Vincent claimed to have received Rs 47 lakh as advocate fees over the past three years for preparing business agreement drafts and handling other legal matters.
The police blamed the victims for falling into the trap, yet they have taken no action against the trust which collected over Rs 120 crore from more than 2,000 people, mostly women.
