The commission said it had received complaints from different sources about non-Muslim students attending government-funded or recognised madrasas.
The NCPCR recommendation is against the tenets of the Madrasa Education Board, said its chairman Iftikhar Ahmed Javed.
The order was passed in a batch of pleas by NCPCR challenging a Punjab and Haryana HC’s ruling which held 16-year-old Muslim girl can enter into valid marriage after attaining puberty.
“Before proceeding further, let a copy of the chargesheet be filed before the next hearing,” said Justice Anup Jairam Bhambhani.
It said in a statement, “We do not need to and we never make cold calls or unscheduled walk-in visits.”
The Commission had also received complaints about objectionable religious content being taught at these madrasas.
Kanoongo said it is noted that children belonging to a non-Muslim community are attending government funded/recognised madrasas.
Several parents have supported the proposal to shut down schools in Delhi amid worsening air quality while others have opposed it, fearing another hit to studies already impacted by the Covid-19.
An AQI range beteen 0 to 100 is considered as good, while from 100 to 200 it is termed moderate and from 200 to 300 it is poor. AQI ranging from 300 to 400 it is said to be very poor.
Government data showed that a maximum number of 9,572 complaints were received from Madhya Pradesh followed by 5,340 complaints from Uttar Pradesh.

The NCPCR complaint referred to the photo of a girl and her father shared by Zubair on Twitter during an online spat with the minor’s father.
In a letter to the Tamil Nadu chief secy, the child rights body said the authorities concerned should also be given directions for proper and specialised treatment of the children who are admitted.
The central panel claimed that SCPCR found girls were forced to convert to another religion. State government officials, however, denied the allegation.

It said video clips circulating on social media platforms show children raising slogans such as 'sar tan se juda' and demanding that the suspended Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader be 'hanged'.
“It is further mentioned in the complaint that the minor has been used by the party to influence other people further to join the party,” NCPCR chairperson said.
NCPCR chairperson said the complainant has also provided various social media links of AAP's official handles with content posted by the minor, proving the contents of the complaint.
