The owners lauded Commissioner Manivannan for addressing their long-pending demands and said that ever since he took charge, there are visible overhaul in BDA.
Senior BDA officials, who were monitoring the demolition drive, said that 22 unauthorised constructions had come up on two acres, as part of Arkavathy Layout.
The accused has been identified as Venkatesh D Lokayukta officials searched five locations, including his residence and office, and the houses of his relatives across the city.
The BDA Commissioner said that they have been bringing the issue of internal roads to the BDA since 2022 and lauded Commissioner Manivannan for quickly addressing it.
