JPSC counsel Sanjay Piperwal informed the court that the recruitment examination for Assistant Conservator of Forest and Range Forest Officer posts had been cancelled.
Members of the Manch alleged that while action is being taken on cases registered against them, the police are providing no clear information regarding the complaints they have filed.
Senior advocate Manan Kumar Mishra, appearing for the petitioner, said the plea seeks either a CBI inquiry or an investigation by a former Supreme Court judge.
It alleged that some posts sought to create fear or confusion among the public, misrepresent government actions and undermine the reputation of constitutional institutions.
