The students gave an ultimatum to the state government, warning that if their demands are not met, they will lay siege to the CM’s residence in Ranchi on August 20, seeking his resignation.
A separate petition concerning alleged irregularities in the 14th JPSC Combined Civil Services Preliminary Examination has already been filed in the Supreme Court.
According to student leaders, the government delegation listened to their concerns seriously and assured them that their demands would be placed before the Chief Minister.
Questioning the rationale behind cancelling the entire exam, the candidates said sufficient documents and records are available to establish whether irregularities actually occurred.
