Maratha quota leader Manoj Jarange alleged that Shinde was conspiring against the community by attempting to pit Marathas against Marathas and derail the protest over its reservation demand.
The CM said the government is ready to discuss constitutionally valid demands, while Jarange has set September 12 as the deadline for action on Kunbi certificates.
Jarange Patil expressed solidarity with protesting students, criticised the BJP government's handling of the agitation and backed calls for Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation.
