The computer-based UGC-NET is held twice a week and decides admission to Ph.D programmes, Assistant Professor jobs and Junior Research Fellowships in college universities.
The English and Commerce papers are scheduled for September 9, while Sociology will be held on September 10, the Solicitor General told the high court.
The examination was held on July 17 and 18, with 1,50,057 candidates appearing for it. Of these, 90,380 were female, 59,675 male and two were Third Gender candidates.
