The CM told the Assembly that the government had come to know about reports of MSC acquiring a stake in the Vizhinjam port project for an investment of Rs 13,000 crore only through the media.
The forged document claimed that the accused had secured a Rs 300-crore contract related to Vizhinjam Port and was allegedly used to solicit investments from multiple individuals.
The accused Salmanul Farisi was using fabricated documents bearing fake signs of senior bureaucrats of the state government and the port management to swindle money from potential investors.
