Madurai Bench asked the Tirunelveli CB-CID to analyse highway CCTV footage submitted by NHAI to verify accused claims in the July 2025 murder of techie C Kavin Selvaganesh
The investigation agency deliberately failed to obtain CCTV footage which, if secured, would be able to show whether Saravanan and Jayapal met Surjith after the incident.
In cases of this nature, courts are required to remain mindful of the statutory obligation to ensure that witnesses are insulated from any form of influence, whether direct or indirect.
