The latest remand comes after Pradhan was already sent to judicial custody by the Haldia Sub-Divisional Court until October 3 in connection with four other pending non-bailable arrest warrants.
Pradhan was arrested hours after former West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee announced her party's support for the Congress in the October 6 Nandigram bypoll.
