The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday took retired judge Giribala Singh into custody from her residence in Bhopal after several hours of questioning.
Twisha’s father Navnidhi Sharma, through his counsel, told the High Court that Giribala Singh used her expertise in crime scene management and related training to tamper with evidence.
The CBI can now take custody of Giribala Singh through the competent court, particularly to question or cross-examine her along with her son, Samarth Singh.
Samrath Singh, the lawyer son of former judge and Bhopal Consumer Court chairperson Giribala Singh, was brought to the Katara Hills police station around 2 am, police sources said.
