A gang of burglars reportedly broke into six houses at Kadiyapu Savaram village under Kadiyam police station limits on the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday.
While Sreenu worked as the watchman of the building, his wife Lakshmi, was a domestic help in the house that was burgled.

The burglary took place sometime between 12 and 4 pm on November 17 when the actress' sister had gone out.
