New technology to ensure effective police patrolling

VIJAYAWADA: Aimed at extending better services to public, the Andhra Pradesh police have decided to launch technology vision policing system soon.
With Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu directing the police officials to upgrade technology in police department during a review meeting conducted at his residence in Undavalli on Saturday, the police department is all set to launch technology vision policing system.

Speaking to newsmen after the completion of the meeting, DGP N Sambasiva Rao said that effective usage of technology will come in handy in the process of crime investigation and regulation of vehicular traffic and to offer better services to people.
Stating that there are several softwares available at present, he said that the police would  use the required softwares for updating technology. He also said that a committee would be formed to offer better services to public.
