Audi has released its two new models with the high-performance packages that make the vehicles faster and powerful. The two cars that get the updates are Audi RS6 and Audi RS7. Its a good news for the Audi flagship RS car lovers who want the vehicles with more power and fast execution than before.
The newly introduced performance editions of RS6 Avant and RS7 Sportback work on the same twin-turbo charged mill that can deliver the power output of 552 bhp and 680 Nm/502 lb-ft. But this time around, with the new performance edition, the cars can produce an impressive power of 597 bhp and max torque of 553 lb-ft. Moreover, the mill comes coupled with 8-speed automatic transmission. All these improvements under the performance edition package makes a total increase of 45 bhp of power and 50 Nm of torque. It is said that the engine continues to get cylinder on Demand (COD) system in which the car is under part load. It will then run on just 4 cylinders to save fuel.
The high-performance RS6 and RS7 can go from 0-100 kmph mark in mere 3.7 seconds which is 0.2 seconds faster than the other standard cars. The vehicles can achieve a top speed of 280 kmph in RS6 and 305 kmph in RS7. The standard 8-speed Tiptronic gearbox stays as it is in the two cars while the all-wheel drive Quattro permanent transfers the power via the central differential. About 40% flows to the front axle while the rest 60% goes to the rear axle. Standard adaptive air suspension lowers the body of the RS6 and RS7 sport by about 20mm. Audi also offers RS sports suspension plus with Dynamic Ride Control (DRC) as an alternative while other options include dynamic steering with a continuous flexible steering ratio.
Other upgrades embarked in the two high-performance cars are its alloy wheels. Now the car rides on 21-inch alloy wheels and are wrapped in 285/30 R21 tyres in RS6 and 275/30 R21 tyres in RS7. Stepping inside, the car will feature new mat titanium finish and Audi’s new iconic Quattro logo which is placed near the air ducts. Talking about the pricing, high-performance RS6 gets the price tag of INR 85.90 lacs and RS7 comes with the sticker price tag of INR 91.54 lacs.

It comes powered by the 3.0 litres V6 TFI Supercharged Quattro mill that can deliver the power output of 333 HP and the motor comes coupled with 7-speed S Tronic transmission. The car can go from 0-100 kmph mark in just 5.1 seconds and can achieve the top speed of 250 kmph. It returns a mileage figure of 100 kms by utilising 8.1 litres of fuel.

The coupe is very stylish and is designed to be a niche segment in India.
