KOCHI: Remit2india, the online money transfer portal of NRIs by TimesofMoney, is planning to introduce mobile money transfer to its customers for easy transfer of money.

Avijit Nanda, president, Timesof- Money, said that the mobile money transfer will be introduced as soon as the regulatory clearance is received.

There are also plans to introduce multiple options for its customers with tie-ups with other service providers for shopping, e-commerce and many more.

The Remit2India portal, which is having 20 percent of the market share, now helps NRIs to remit money to any of the banks in India.

For the remittance from one bank to another, Remit2India will be a platform between the two banks for the transfer.

He pointed out that the portal would help avoid the presence of middlemen and the transfer could be completed at a minimal charge.

This service is now available in 36 countries around the globe for the NRIs to sent money to the beneficiaries in India. TimesofMoney brings together wide expertise and capabilities to enhance the remittance offering by leveraging the product depth, scale and efficient operating environment.
