GANDHINAGAR: Chennai-headquartered diversified infrastructure organisation MARG Ltd. has won an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) work order valued at Rs.237.58 crore from Bhavnagar Energy Company Ltd. in Gujarat, an official said Tuesday.

The work order includes a sea water intake, outfall and circulating water system for the 2X250 MW lignite-based thermal power plant at Padva, in Bhavnagar district. The time frame for completion of the project is 24 months.

Bhavnagar Energy Company Limited is promoted by Gujarat state-owned companies, including Gujarat Power Corporation Limited and Gujarat State Investment Limited.

G.R.K. Reddy, CMD, MARG Group, said: "MARG's domain expertise in port, marine infrastructure, industrial EPC and other infrastructure projects will add value for the successful completion and on-time delivery of this project."
