Air India Signs Code Sharing Pack With Hong Kong Airlines

Under the agreement, Hong Kong Airlines would place its code on direct flights operated by Air India between Hong Kong and Delhi and Osaka and Seoul.

MUMBAI: Ailing national carrier Air India, which reported a whopping Rs 5000-crore net loss last fiscal, today signed a code sharing agreement with Hong Kong Airlines, a Skytrax member and a 4-star airline.

Under the agreement, Hong Kong Airlines (HKA) would place its code on direct flights operated by Air India between Hong Kong and Delhi and Osaka and Seoul, Air India said in a statement.

Following this development, HKA passengers would be able to enjoy daily Air India flights between Hong Kong and New Delhi and between Hong Kong, thrice a week between Hong Kong and Osaka, as well as a four-times weekly flights between Hong Kong and Seoul.

Air India flies the Dreamliner on these routes.
