NEW DELHI: Sundaram Business Services (SBS), the BPO arm of Sundaram Finance, today said it will hire about 200 freshers at its Thane (Mumbai) centre over the next one year.

"SBS will hire around 200 freshers with multi-lingual skills for its voice processes at its Thane (Mumbai) centre over the next 6-12 months. Currently, there are over 350 people working out of the facility," SBS said in a statement.

The company has over 800 employees working for domestic customers out of its facilities in Mumbai and Chennai.

"The current employee expansion plan is in line with our continued focus on domestic voice-based services. We have seen good traction over the last year for our customer life cycle management services. Our target is to add at least 4-5 customers to our existing 16 in the voice space," SBS Chief Executive Officer Rajesh Venkat said.

The company's voice processes focus on customer life cycle management, i.e customer service, sales and lead generation (inbound and outbound).

The company also provides specialised voice services like collection reminders and reality TV selection.

"SBS is also hiring commerce graduates for accounting back office processes including accounts payable and receivable related work," it said.

In India, the company provides accounts payable services to manufacturing companies, as well as the insurance and mutual fund sectors.

Within the India market, SBS also provides CFO support services to seven clients.
