NEW DELHI: Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Thursday released India 2016, the 60th of edition of the annual digest of the country's progress in different fields, published by the government.

The digest contains vital information on various projects and progress India is making in various fields, he said.

This year, an e-version of the digest has also been made available by the Publications Division.

"E-version is good. It's cheaper too in comparison to the hard copy," Jaitley said.

The minister also launched an e-version of the popular Employment News and other publications of Publications Division.

Jaitley refrained from saying anything on the Jawaharlal Nehru University row and on the attack on students and journalists at the Patiala House court here.
