Jet Airways to launch third daily flight on Mumbai-London route

MUMBAI: Private carrier Jet Airways today said it will launch a third daily service to London Heathrow from here, starting Sunday.

The addition of the third flight from Mumbai to London Heathrow complements the airline's existing operations to the British capital from its hubs in Mumbai and Delhi, Jet Airways said in a release today.

With the launch of the latest flight, Jet Airways will become the only Indian carrier to operate thrice daily services between India's financial capital, and London Heathrow - one of the world's busiest and best airports, the airline said.

The third frequency enhances onward connectivity over London Heathrow to North America, the release said adding with partners Delta Air Lines and Virgin Atlantic it will allow Jet Airways to offer passengers improved connection times to 14 destinations over London Heathrow to North America including Atlanta, Boston, Detroit, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, Newark, New York, Philadelphia, Portland, San Francisco, Seattle, Salt Lake City and Washington.​
