Intra-state e-way bill to come into effect from April 20 in Haryana

FARIDABAD: The intra-state e-way bill will come into effect from April 20, 2018.

The e-way bill would be mandatory for intra-state movement of goods also in the state.

This was disclosed at inaugural function of newly constructed building of excise and taxation by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar here today.

The construction of new buildings of excise and taxation in other districts would also be carried out so that people would get all services under one roof, he said.

The chief minister said the state government has been expanding the e-governance in a planned manner towards making working easy and transparent.

He said the state government had taken several measures to provide corruption-free functioning to people.

The use of information technology has been made part of work in different government departments, he added.
