Get voters IDs in Bangalore One centres

“Voters can register themselves in Bangalore One centres located across the city,” said Anil Kumar Jha, Chief Election Officer, at a function organised to launch the voter ID registration here on Sunday.

He handed over voter ID cards to people. Rajajinagar Electoral Registration Officer D K Babu said, “Around 21 Bangalore one centres will be involved in issuing the cards and these centres will charge a nominal service fee that will be fixed in the future. We will do whatever is necessary to issue the ID cards to every eligible voter.”

According to Babu, the Bangalore One staff would coordinate with Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike officials to take photos and enter the details of the registered voters in the records, before issuing the cards.
