Jnanpeet awardee and writer Chandrashekhar Kambar on Sunday said parents should not put pressure on their children by comparing them with others, instead they should identify their talent and encourage them.

President of the festival T Mahesh said, “Concept of grand parents telling stories to children too has almost disappeared due to the concept of nuclear families in the cities. We need playground in each ward,” he said. Children from 20 districts will be taking part in the festival.
