BANGALORE: Karnataka Soaps and Detergents Limited (KS&DL) on Wednesday released the country’s most expensive soap - Mysore Sandal’s Millennium Soap. The cost of one soap is Rs 720.

The KS&DL’s products under the brand name ‘Mysore Sandals’ has released the expensive soap. The Millennium soap is produced from exclusive vegetable oils and special conditioners, moisturisers, Vitamin-E, Jojoba-Mimosa and other selected special ingredients.

Pure sandalwood oil is the essence of this exquisite product which, according to KS&DL, helps in relaxation and contains anti-ageing properties.

“Two years of extensive research has gone in to producing this soap,” KS&DL chairman Shivanand Naik told reporters after Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda released the product at his official residence - Krishna.
