BANGALORE: Mobile-based platform provider TxtWeb is conducting a national-level online developer challenge called CodeWarriors (www.codewarriors.

in) for txtWeb developers.

The two-week long challenge started on March 19 and will continue till April 1.

The challenge aims to encourage the developer community by helping them showcase their creativity through mobile-based apps.

The top three developers will respectively win a Samsung Galaxy Tab worth `26,000, a Sony Home Theatre worth `18,000 and Nikon Camera worth `11,000.

Also, the top 10 most innovative apps will get a gift voucher worth `7,500 and an opportunity to showcase their apps to the panel of judges from Intuit Technology Services Private Limited.

“TxtWeb organises developer challenges like CodeWarriors regularly to foster the developer ecosystem, by encouraging the developer community to create interesting apps across categories on the txtWeb platform,” said Manish Maheshwari, global business head, txtWeb, Intuit.

In order to take part in the contest, a developer should have built at least two apps that are functional and run smoothly on the txtWeb platform.

Alternatively, a participant should have built an app on txtWeb with more than 200 unique users.

Developers have the liberty to create apps across categories like government programmes, jobs, news, health, education, market prices and entertainment.

The contest will be judged by an expert jury comprising members from Intuit.
