His achievements include: a Grammy nomination, numerous MTV awards, performing at the opening ceremony of the 2004 Athens Olympic Games to an audience of billions, and even a wax statue at Madame Tussauds.

2012 was Tiesto’s biggest year yet with a series of unique promotions which includes performing the first concert live-streamed online. The musician enters 2013 on fire with the much-anticipated follow up to his ground breaking “Club Life College Invasion Tour,” which saw Tiësto embark on a two-week tour of college campuses across the United States. The tour culminated with a sold out event at the Home Depot Center in Los Angeles where he performed before an audience of 26,000 fans - making it the largest single headline DJ show in United States history.

In April 2006, Tiësto was named the official worldwide ambassador for the Dance4Life foundation promoting awareness of HIV/AIDS, as the foundation’s ambassador he has helped the organisation with fund raising along with recording the track ‘Dance4life’ that he recorded with Maxi Jazz from Faithless.

On October 6, 2009, Tiësto released his fourth studio album Kaleidoscope, which featured artists such as Priscilla Ahn, Calvin Harris, Tegan and Sara and Nelly Furtado. Unlike his earlier albums, which were all mostly trance, Kaleidoscope explores other electronic genres, and is considered Tiesto’s most experimental album.
