Get Ready for Sargam Cultural Festival

BENGALURU:  Sargam cultural festival will kick-start next week. More than 10,000 students from 150 colleges will participate in Sargam, to be held at New Horizon College of Engineering on September 14 and 15.

The state-level inter collegiate cultural fest brings together students from various educational institutions and provides them with a platform to showcase their talents and win handsome rewards too.

Sargam not only provides an opportunity to students to express themselves in creative forms but also helps them impart social awareness and sportsmanship.

Various programmes to be held as part of Sargam are Voice Out, Muziket, Battle of Bands, Contemporary (Group), Filmy Dance (Group), Street Dance (Group), Mime (Group), Singing (Group), Singing (Solo), Collage, Freeze-It, Computer Gaming, Short Movie Making, Stand Up Comedy, Switch Foot, Turn Coat.

Sargam will go several steps ahead this time by launching an Android app- Sargam.

The New Horizon College of Engineering developed an app that gives exclusive details of the fest besides helping people keep a tab on schedules and results.
