Man showers money from flyover in Bengaluru

BENGALURU: A video of a man showering currency notes from the Mysuru Road flyover in Kalasipalya locality was reported on Tuesday.

Currency notes of Rs 10 denomination were thrown from both sides of the flyover.

The man is shown walking across the flyover carrying a wall clock and throwing wads of notes to the public to catch.

On seeing the notes strewn around them, people rushed to pick it, which caused commotion and traffic snarls on the stretch for a while.

The man, said to be in his thirties, has been detained, according to PTI.

Initial probe revealed that he threw currency notes of Rs 10 denomination and a total worth Rs 3,000. 

Police suspect that the man is mentally unsound. An investigation is on, they said.
