AN initiative that was made to change the way Chennaiites look at their city and its folks turned one year old. A year ago, Inbox 1305, a city magazine was launched attempting to  bring about a refreshing take on the city. After 12 editions of innovative and  informative content, the magazine celebrated its first anniversary. And it was celebrated  not with glitz and glamour but for a cause. Soundarya Rajinikanth stole the show  and  theatre exponent Mitran Devanesan’s project made the anniversary celebrations more meaningful.  Besides Soundarya launching Inbox’s first anniversary special issue, the team of Inbox 1305  including its editor Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi donated a sum to Anjar, a project undertaken by Mitran  to help and educate under-privileged children.

Following the launch of the first anniversary issue, a cultural show was organised. Designers Sidney Sladen, Vivek Karunakaran and Sangeetha, wife of actor Vijay who  appeared on the cover page of Inbox’s anniversary edition and  others were present to wish the team.
