RIMC Sahil Hospitality India Private Limited, a joint venture between Sahil Hospitality Ltd, the Germany-based RIMC International and iNetGlobal Group from Switzerland, will manage and operate the upmarket Radisson Blu at Malad, Mumbai. Headquartered in Pune, RIMC Sahil Hospitality India Private Limited is engaged in providing management and consultancy services to the hospitality sector across the spectrum. Vinay Phadnis, Chairman, RIMC Sahil Hospitality India Private Limited, made the above remarks at a meeting which was attended by Peter Wagner, Director, RIMC International, Vaibhav Abhyankar and Ajit Dharmadhikari, Director and Executive Director respectively of RIMC Sahil Hospitality India Private Limited.

Radisson Blu is a first class full service upscale hotel brand owned by Carlson Hotels. Over 240 hotels in almost 60 countries are currently operational under this brand. “An ultra-luxurious 266 rooms Radisson Blu will come up at Malad in Mumbai. ASPEE Group, a leading manufacturer of agricultural equipment, is the owner of the property. “RIMC Sahil India has signed a contract with Aspee Group to manage and operate the hotel under the management contract,” said Vinay Phadnis. “This five star deluxe hotel of international standards will cater to business and leisure travellers and is currently under planning stage. Construction work would commence by the end of this month. RIMC Sahil India is involved in the project right from the planning stage,” Phadnis added.

“With the expansion into new markets in Scandinavia and Slovenia next year, the International RIMC Group is also very happy to see its joint venture in India taking big strides in different business segments,” said Peter Wagner, Swiss Director of RIMC International. About the other projects bagged by the company, Ajit Dharmadhikari, Executive Director, RIMC Sahil India, said, “The company has entered into a management contract with Edelweiss, a leading financial service company, to manage its Fountainhead Leadership Centre at Alibaug, a Corporate Training and Conferencing facility. It has come up on a sprawling six acres of land with 54 rooms, four conference halls, an amphitheatre and a swimming pool along with various indoor and outdoor facilities. The project became operational since October 2010.

RIMC Sahil India would provide technical consultancy and pre-opening services to a resort and spa project which is also under development at Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh. It would be an upscale 85 rooms resort and spa, one of its kind in the region and would offer the best of facilities for leisure and business travellers and tourists.

Akul Plaza, a business hotel with 50 rooms, a wellness centre, multi-purpose halls, a retail space and a multi-cuisine restaurant is coming up at Jalna in Maharashtra. RIMC Sahil India has provided technical consultancy to this project. The project is being set up by Krishidhan Seeds Limited, a renowned name in seed business.
