CHENNAI: Radisson GRT Hotel on GST Road and Radisson Temple Bay Resort at Mahabalipuram have been upgraded to Radisson Blu Hotel from Radisson Green.

The upgradation was done based on the Medallia guest satisfaction scores, property quality audits, online distribution audits and mystery shopper scores. Radisson Blu hotels have an eco-friendly CSR programme called the Responsible Business, in their branches at all locations and are certified by Earth Check on parameters of eco-sensitiveness.

This September, the Asia Pacific region will be taking part in its first ever Responsible Business Action Month. Radisson, Chennai will be joining forces with other Carlson Hotels throughout Europe, Middle East, Africa and America to make the month of September a focus for Responsible Business activities.  Employees, guests and the local communities will be engaged to raise awareness for the cause and to reduce Carbon Foot Print. Announcing this at a media conference, Vikram Cotah, Senior Vice President, Radisson Blu Hotel GRT and Radisson Blu Templebay Resort said, “Radisson Blu hotels are the fastest growing international upper upscale brand in India with hotels in prime locations in business and leisure segments. The unique service philosophy and the 100 per cent guest satisfaction policy makes the brand stand apart from other hotel brands in India.”
