CHENNAI:  The atmosphere was tense at Vani Mahal on Thursday, but with a round of  music at the cultural fete Reverberations, it turned into a combination of nervousness and competitiveness.

Reverberations, the annual cultural festival of the PSBB Group of Schools, provided a common platform for students to tap, showcase and enhance their innate talent.

The events covered a wide range of activities to help the students develop their interpersonal, communication, aesthetic, kinesthetic and musical abilities.

The venue was decked up with lights and effects for on-stage events like quiz, adzap, dumb charades, dance and music.

“This year, with the central theme being ‘Time’, most of the events showcase the relevance of time, with each round having an element of time being incorporated in them. For example, there are events like yesteryear music in the musical event and questions pegged to time. The different rounds of competitions have been made innovative,” said Sarah, a cultural secretary.

“With over 50 schools participating, there has been a lot of effort put into planning Reverberations for the last two weeks. We are happy that the event is coming together with immense hardwork on the part of each student of class XII from both schools,” said Anirudh, SPL, PSBB KK Nagar. With over 25 events lined up from July 1 to 3 , Day 0 (Wednesday) at PSBB KK Nagar, saw sports events which included cricket, basketball and volleyball.
