Legendary director K Viswanath’s new musical Subhapradam starring Naresh and Manjari is hitting the screens on July 16. The director is wielding the megaphone after five long years. His last film was Swarabhishekam in 2004. Allari Naresh and Manjari are playing the lead roles in the latest film.
“There is a strong criticism that I make movies with traditional subjects which do not capture the imagination of today’s youth. But my films have a separate brand and I will maintain it till the end,” K Viswanath said.
Madhura Sridhar’s maiden directorial venture, Sneha Geetam is set for release the same day. It is being produced by Lagadapati Sridhar.
Director AS Ravi Kumar Chowdary’s Em Pillo Em Pillado, produced by Pokuri Babu Rao under the banner of Eetharam Films with Tanish and Pranitha in the lead, was given a clean ‘U’ certificate by the Hyderabad Censor Board recently and is now all set to hit screens on July 16. Yem Pillo Yem Pillado has a soundtrack composed by Mani Sharma. Bhashasri has penned the dialogues and lyrics are by Bhaskarabhatla and Ramajogaiah Sastry. Cinematography is by Ch Ramanaraju, editing by Gauthamraju, stunts by Ram-Laxman and art by B Venkateswara Rao.
All these three films have no stars that can pull the audiences to the theatres yet, all are competing this weekend. As Maryada Ramanna and Komaram Puli are around the corner, these films have no other option but to release this weekend.
