ECIL’s acting CMD receives Scope Award

P Sudhakar, acting chairman and managing director of the Electronics Corporation of India (ECIL), received the prestigious Gold Trophy of SCOPE Meritorious Award for R&D, Technology Development & Innovation, for year 2011-12 from President Pranab Mukherjee in New Delhi on Friday.

The awardee was selected by a panel headed by former chief justice of India PN Bhagwati and comprising former PESB member VS Jain, management consultant MB Atreya, former IOCL chairman MA Pathan, NTPC former CMD CP Jain, and the director-general of SCOPE. The award was based on the evaluation done by Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India Pvt Ltd.
