TRIPUNITHURA: With the death of Sheeja, succumbing to injuries, the death toll in the Tipper - Nano car accident rose to three.
She had been admitted to the Medical Trust Hospital with serious injuries on Sunday, and died on Monday evening. The remaining passengers, AjayaKumar and Vishnu, died on the spot.
The death of Sheeja and Ajayakumar orphans their two children. The duo, along with nephew Vishnu, had been on their way to invite colleagues to their daughter’s wedding which was planned to be held on November 2. Ajayakumar was an employee at Aroor Keltron and Sheeja, a teacher at Muhamma, near Cherthala. Meanwhile, Tripunithura Traffic Police arrested Saneesh, the driver of the tipper, in connection with the accident.
