Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Tripunithura, has bagged the Chinmayanada Trophy at the 11th Soccer Tournament held at Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Kannankulangara.
Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Tripunithura, fought a stiff battle with Al Ameen Public School, Edappally, in the finals on Saturday.
As many as eighteen teams from various schools across the district participated.
Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Eroor, Al Ameen Public School, Edappally, Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Tripunithura and Bhavan’s Varuna Vidyalaya, Kakkanad, were the semifinalists.
Baiju Paulose, CI of Hill Palace Police Station, the chief guest of the valedictory function distributed the prizes. Indu Ajay Kumar, honorary secretary of the Vidyalaya Management Committee, Sunanda Murali, vice-principal and headmistress were present.
