Vice Admiral Thura Thet Swe, commander in chief of the Myanmar Navy, arrived at Kochi on Tuesday for a two day visit to the Southern Naval Command. The Admiral’s agenda in Kochi included calling on vice admiral Satish Soni, commander in chief of Southern Naval Command. The delegation also visited INS Dronacharya, Indian Navy’s missile and gunnery school as well as the Cochin Shipyard. Visits to various training facilities of Southern Naval Command has been included in the programme for Wednesday, following which the Myanmar delegation will leave Kochi.
