KOCHI: We have often heard of twins sharing a special connect with each other and heard of hundreds of real-life incidents where twins have felt a telepathic connection mentally.

Though twin telepathy may still be a debated topic, for twin sisters Gowri Pisharody and Lakshmi Pisharody, the real surprise came when the CBSE class XII results were declared recently. The twins from Campion School, Edappally, have scripted a unique success story by scoring identical marks in the Class XII examinations this year.  The identical twins secured 94.8 per cent marks and are proud to be the toppers in the Science Stream of Campion School. The dedication, guidance and motivation from their teachers helped them to be victorious, they say. Not only have they secured the same total scores, but interestingly Gowri and Lakshmi have got identical marks in Physics (95), Chemistry (95) and Biology (94) with a slight variation in the marks for Mathematics and English. Campion School principal, Leelamma Thomas, reiterated that these twins are a great source of inspiration to all other students. She congratulated the twins for their unity and hard work. Both Gowri and Lakshmi who aspire to go for medicine want to specialise in neurology or cardiology.

The twins are the daughters of K Madhu, manager, Square Deal, and Prema. Campion School has secured 100 per cent success with 63 distinctions and 50 first classes in class XII CBSE examination. Lakshmi Madhav is the topper in the Commerce stream with 96.2 per cent marks.
