Actor Mukesh and his former wife Saritha on Saturday were present at the Ernakulam Family Court while the court considered the petition filed by Saritha to set aside the court’s order granting divorce to the couple in January 2012. Family Court judge N Leelamani heard both of them at her chamber.After the hearing, Leelamani suggested them to have a compromise on the case and asked them to give their consent before May 7. Earlier, Saritha had filed a petition at the Family Court stating that she was not aware whether Mukesh had divorced her.
She submitted that she came know about the divorce only after reports on Mukesh’s marriage with Methil Devika appeared in the media. However, Mukesh submitted that he married Methil Devika under the Special Marriage Act after submitting all the records of his previous marriage, including the divorce paper granted by the court.
