THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: As part of its 10th anniversary celebrations, Toonz Animation India Pvt Ltd conducted a painting and cartoon competition for kids on Sunday. Titled ‘Hues and Lines’, the competition, which was open to children in the age group of 7 to 15 years, was divided into two categories. Nearly 700 participants were present.

The theme of the painting competition for seniors was ‘Market Place’ and that for juniors, ‘Your School’.

In the cartoon competition,  the  topics  for the two sections were ‘Traffic’ and ‘Heavy Bag’ respectively.

The judges were Katoor Narayana Pillai and cartoonist Sukumar. The prizes were given away by the judges along with Toonz Animation CEO P.  Jayakumar and Management Advisor of Toonz Animation Sach Chandarya.

Apart from the top three prizes, five consolation prizes were also given away.

The top three in painting competition (junior): Vishnu B., Anjana Raju and Shikha Sivaraman. Top three in senior category: Archa Susheendran, Jishnu P. Raj and Shilpa Sivaraman.

Top three in cartoon (junior):

Atul Bilahani, Aiswarya S. Shaji and Anand R.; Top three in senior category: Jishnu P. Raj, Yadukrishnan S.A. and Prathibha G.
