Nikon India, the subsidiary of Nikon Corporation, one of the leaders in imaging technology, launched its first Nikon D-SLR Zone in the city on Thursday.
The D-SLR zone is located at Baba Enterprises Private Limited, Saraswathy Bhavan, Pazhavangadi, Thiruvananthapuram - 695 036. This shop-in-shop retail concept is being launched with the aim of growing closer to its customer base.
The company adopted the shop-in-shop retail concept in February 2009 to enable access to its products and services. Photography lovers in the city can now have an easy access to the entire range of D-SLR cameras and make an informed choice. Nikon’s shop-in-shop zones are an attempt to provide customers with an interactive and informative shopping experience.
The zone was inaugurated by Hiroshi Takashina, Managing Director, Nikon India.
The Nikon D-SLR Zone will display the entire range of D-SLR cameras, NIKKOR Lenses and elaborate lineup of COOLPIX compact cameras as well.
Nikon India distributes, markets and services the complete range of Nikon imaging products, including Nikon D-SLR as well as compact cameras, the Nikon COOLPIX and a range of NIKKOR lenses and service and repair of industrial products. These include microscopes and technical measuring instruments.
