Supplyco Employees to Boycott Stocktaking

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Supplyco Employees Congress has decided to boycott the annual stocktaking there in protest against not implementing their demands.

The decision was taken at a meeting held here the other day. They had urged that the Chief Minister should keep the promise of implementing contributory pension in Supplyco. Their other demands include raising pension age, granting promotion to everyone in the seniority list, those getting promotion should be given appointment in the districts concerned, implementing the increased daily wages in petrol pumps, raising the salary of daily wage labourers and so on.

The meeting was presided over by Supplyco Employees Congress president M Sasidharan Nair. Vice-president P Sreekantan, general secretary Akkulam Mohanan, Nasar, Pratheesh, Seejo, Lekha, Mohankumar and Vijayan spoke.
