THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Dr Neethu Sona has been appointed Deputy Director of Press Information Bureau here under the Union Ministry for Information and Broadcasting. She has also been given the additional charge of Publication Division and appointed as Senior Editor of ‘Yojana’, a Central Government monthly magazine focusing on sociology-economic issues.
An MBBS graduate, shejoined Civil Services in 2010. She had served in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Ministry of Human Resource Development and All India Radio.
