Greenvalley School to Spread its Wings

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:  The Greenvalley International School in the city is all set to push the envelope, and,as a first step, the school will rechristen itself as The Charter School. The institution aims to set up 15 schools across India and abroad by 2020.

The Charter School will have schools in Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, Chennai and UAE. 

Founded in 2012 at Peyad here, Greenvalley school quickly made a mark with its unique approach centred around world-class methodologies, innovative curriculum and individual learning plans for each student.

“As our motto says, we want to open a world of possibilities to each student through personalised education. The school aims to create world leaders for the 21st century through a unique curriculum and academic practices,” said School Director, Balamurali Vijayaraj.

The personalised approach of the school puts the child at the centre, making learning fun and a self-motivated process. Each child has an Individual learning Plan (ILP) keeping with his/her strengths, psychological development and interests.

The school boasts of dedicated education experts who keeps abreast with the new trends in curriculum, pedagogy, child psychology and learning patterns. “We need new generation schools capable of producing world-class leaders.

We are in the process of setting up a chain of schools with unique architecture, curriculum and learning methods to gear up for the challenge”, said Binoy Kattadiyil, Managing Director, Charter Schools.
