THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Veteran actress KPAC Lalitha has been selected for the Parabrahma Chaitanya award instituted  by the Padanilam Parabrahma temple, Nooranad.

Announcing the award here on Saturday, Temple  Trust office bearers C R Venugopal, P Pramod and P V Uthaman said that Lalitha was selected considering her contributions to the theatre and cinema.

A jury comprising novelist George Onakkoor,  film director Harikumar and media person R Ajith kumar selected the award winner.

The award presentation ceremony will be held at 7 pm on November 16.PWD Minister G.Sudhakaran will present the award to KPAC Lalitha. Film director Adoor Gopalakrishnan and Sreekumaran Thampi had received the award in the previous years.
