KWA’s drinking water supply to be disrupted in Thiruvananthapuram on March 13

Drinking water supply will be resumed in higher altitude areas only by Saturday night.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala Water Authority has informed that drinking water supply will be disrupted from 4 am on Thursday until Friday 10 pm in certain areas of Thiruvananthapuram city due to emergency repair works following water leakage on the main pipeline from Aruvikkara at Muttada junction and also near Thattinakam Bridge. Drinking water supply will be resumed in higher altitude areas only by Saturday night.

The areas that will be affected are Ambalammukku, Oolampara, Jawahar Nagar, Vellayambalam, Muttada, Nalanchira, Paruthippara, Kaudiar, Kuravankonam, Nanthencode, Pattom, Murinjapalam, Medical College, Kumarapuram, Ulloor, Kesavadasapuram, Parottukonam, Edavakode, Sreekaryam, Pongumoodu, Prasanth Nagar, Cheruvakkal, Chellamangalam, Chempazhanthy, Njandoorkonam, Pulayanarkotta, Karimanal, Kuzhivila, Manvila, Kulathoor, Attipra, Arasumoodu, Pallithura, Menamkulam, Karyavattom, Kazhakoottam, CRPF camp, Technopark, Akkulam, Thripadapuram, KINFRA park, Pangappara, Powdikonam and Kariyam.
