VIJAYAWADA: A minor fire broke out at a hotel near Pandit Nehru Bus Station (PNBS) on Wednesday evening, creating panic among passengers.
No casualties were reported, police said. According to Krishna Lanka police, the fire broke out at Shirdi Canteen near the main gate of PNBS. Gas leakage is said to be the cause of the accident. Fire officials rushed to the spot and doused the fire.
“Property worth approximately `2 lakh was destroyed,” said the police.
